I am a ‘newby’ in the show world compared to what I see on the site. I have been involved in Showing, Agility and Musical Freestyle since 1998 – but indirectly involved since a little girl via my sister who has been involved in all aspects of dogs since ‘forever’... I was allergic to any animal with hair until the age of 28, when this condition mysteriously disappeared and I became hooked overnight!.
My first show dogs were Tibetan Terriers.
Havanese came to South Africa in November 2006 and I ‘found’ my boy early the following year. He was from the 1st litter born here (but that is a story for another time). I am currently the only person showing Havanese in South Africa. So we are brand new here and going great guns. My dream and what I am working hard on, is to have a solid foundation line in our country. I also strive to breed good quality Havanese. I currently own 4 Havanese. Our boy’s lines are from the USA , two girls have been imported from Australia and we have a lovely little boy, born to our very first litter last year! I look forward to meeting many of you crazy ‘zoomie’ lovers over the years.
