Liz Vargo
Destiny Havanese was born when Elizabeth Vargo decided to purchase a Havanese dog from Dorothy Goodale's Havana Doll House in 1981. Liz had previously bred and shown a variety of breeds (Weimaraners, Brittanies, Doberman Pinschers) and was especially known for her Tarr Hill Beagles & Harriers, which were consistently in the Top 10 Show rankings for their breeds for a period of many years.
From 1982, Liz either bred or owned the Top Havanese Show Dog in the country for the next 10 years. She was the first Havanese Club of America Register of Merit Breeder and is a former President of the HCA.
